Cubes in Space NASO 2021 will be organized for Nepali students

Continuing our campaign to promote steam education in Nepal, we are organizing ‘Cubes in Space NASO 2021’ for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with the American organization idoodleedu Inc. to create more international level opportunities for Nepali students.

The five-week special workshop, which runs from April 10 to May 15, will be open to students from the 11 to 18-year-old age group who have studied at the school level or have completed schooling but are not enrolled at the university level. To reach out to students from all over the country, students will be able to participate in the program for four weeks from home and will have to come to Kathmandu in the fifth week.

Cubes in Space is a global engineering design competition in which students can send their experiments to space or near-space environments via NASA-sounding rockets and zero pressure scientific balloons. For this, students have to send their plans, evaluations, and, if selected, to the Cubes in Space office in Virginia.

In preparation for participation in Cubes in Space, a total of 50 students will be enrolled in this workshop in Nepal this year where participants will be given various knowledge related to space science, taught about various space environments and aspects and students will be asked to design experiments. Two cubes will be sent to the United States this year from this program.
