Eastern Nepal Local Guides

Eastern Nepal Local Guides are organizing the Meet Up Event at PUSET College, Biratnagar. It is going to held on 2074/11/04 Friday(16 Feb 2018).
They will be sharing our knowledge with them regarding the Google Maps. They will share how you can use Google Maps to add, edit places as well use it to promote the business as well as the local tourism industry.
The Meet Up is held in the College premise & the student will take part. Other Local Guide can join to teach the students but should be informed early about there interest.
Local Guides is a global community of explorers who write reviews, share photos, answer questions, add or edit places, and check facts on Google Maps. Millions of people rely on contributions like yours to decide where to go and what to do.

How To Become a Local Guide

Sign up with your Google account and select your current location. Every place you review, photograph, add, edit, or provide additional info for on Google Maps earns you points toward unlocking something new.
Local Guides is offered everywhere Google Maps is available. At this time, Google Maps is available in more than 40 countries and languages.
The Local Guides program is for individuals, not businesses. Contributions from businesses or business pages will not count toward Local Guides levels or benefits.
You must be 18 years or older to participate in Local Guides. For more information, review the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions.
In this event firstly the students will introduce to the Local Guide program.The following thing followed up with the introduction:

  • Add & Edit in Google Maps.
  • Rating & Review.
  • Adding of Photos & Videos.

The program will follow with live edits & Information about how they can promote their locality (Local Tourism) through Google Maps were included in the last session of the program.
