Huawei P20 Pro Launched In Nepal

Huawei’s latest and one of the most anticipated flagship phone of 2018, the Huawei P20 Pro, has finally been launched in Nepal. The P20 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display(FHD 1080 x 2240, 408 PPI ). It has minimum bezels on the sides, and of course a notch on the top and sports a fingerprint scanner on the bottom chin of the device. The P20 Pro has the latest Kirin 970 processor and comes with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. It comes with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The P20 Pro runs on Android v8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on top.

The company has put its main focus on the camera department as the phone boasts Triple rear cameras. The primary rear camera is a 40MP RGB sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens which are kept together. While a 20MP monochrome sensor sits separately. The 8MP telephoto lens provides 3x optical zoom or 5x hybrid zoom. The 40MP sensor uses a technology which Huawei calls “Light Fusion” for capturing images. The sensor combines captured data from four different pixels and merges them into one. As a result, the images are sharper, brighter, and more detailed. The front-facing camera is a 24 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Both the front-facing as well as the rear cameras are capable of taking pictures with Bokeh effects( aka Portrait Mode). The P20 Pro also has AI image stabilization which allows you to capture incredible blur-free, handheld shots in low-light using Night Mode.

The Huawei P20 Pro has a whopping overall DxO Mark of 109 points, highest on a phone to date. It as a DxO Mark of 114 points for photos and 98 points for videos. The P20 Pro has an IP67 rating. It lacks the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the MicroSD Card slot. It has NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and comes with dual SIM or single SIM variants. The P20 Pro comes with 4000 mAh battery with Huawei’s own fast charging enabled.

The Twilight color edition will be the only color model sold in Nepal. The Huawei P20 Pro is priced at Rs 99,900 and is available in 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant.
