Ncell wins the ‘Most socially responsible telecom company’ Award

Ncell Axiata Limited wins two prestigious awards at Global Business Outlook (GBO) Awards 2021. Ncell has been acknowledged as the ‘Most Socially Responsible Telecom Company‘ in the telecommunication category. In the same way, under the leadership category, CEO Andy Chong won the ‘Telecom CEO of the year’ award.

GBO Awards is a London-based publication. It honours businesses on the basis of excellence every year. The awards are aimed to promote the outstanding work of businesses and business leaders all over the world.

Industries including banking, finance, real estate, telecom, and aviation falls on the criteria. Companies should create new innovations and must hold a value at a local, regional, and international level.

Similarly, Ncell also has been nominated officially at the World Communications Awards (WCA) 2021. These are two seprate awards under the category of ‘The Social Contribution Award’ and ‘Crisis Response Award’. The winners will be announced at Total Telecom Congress event. The event will be held on 26-27 October 2021 in London.

In addition to that, Ncell has also been listed in the ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ award. The award holds the scheme of migrant outreach campaigns under the Global Carrier Awards (GCA) 2021. Winner will be announced on 20 October 2021 at GCA 2021 event in London.

CEO of Ncell, Andy Chong expresses his gratitude at receiving this award. It is honor for having global evaluation of his significant contribution to the community as a responsible corporate citizen under social leadership, he further adds.
