NTA (Nepal Telecommunication Authority) will find your missing mobile

Mobile phones, those portable handset used for different purposes for communication. Nowadays, mobile phones are found in almost all people’s hand. However, not only mobile phone buyers have increased but also those who lost their phones.

From now on nobody needs to be scared regarding the issue of losing/missing mobile phones because the NTA (Nepal Telecommunication Authority) has guaranteed to find anyone’s missing mobile phones just within a week. The only thing NTA need is the IMEI number of your mobile through online/internet. So, do register it now.
NTA has already started registering the IMEI numbers and also working to search for the missing/lost mobile phones of people. This service is done through online and made into effective since last Falgun month.
The spokesperson of NTA, Mr. Min Prasad Aryal said, “For the convenience of the public, the authority has started online service. Earlier this service used to take place on papers.”

He also said that the lost mobile will be exposed within a week if it is inside the country. Also, after receiving the lost mobile application, NTA will Coordinate with Nepal Telecom, Ncell, Nepal police and other service providers to find the lost mobile phones. Hence, the IMEI number of lost mobile is mandatory.

However, the registration charge of IMEI number is free. Altogether 30 sellers and 210 individuals have already registered their IMEI number. The IMEI number of lost mobile can be registered through eir.nta.gov.np. 87 people had registered the IMEI number of their missing mobile from last Baisakh to Ashadh.
