Samsung Galaxy J4 launched in Nepal with AMOLED display

It has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. Since the display is AMOLED, you can expect it to produce pretty vibrant colors.  Chinese company like Xiaomi has started giving the latest 18:9 aspect ratio display even to their entry-level phones but Samsung has decided to stick with the traditional design. The back of the phone is a removable plastic cover. The J4 comes with Samsung Experience UI on top of Android Oreo out of the box.

The Galaxy J4 houses the Exynos 7570 processor which is the entry-level processor.  It’s a quad-core processor with Cortex A53 cores based on energy efficient 14nm process. We can expect the performance to be similar to that of Snapdragon 425. The graphics department is handled by the Mali T720MP2 GPU. The J4 comes in two memory variants: 2GB RAM/ 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM. The storage can be expanded further to 256GB using a microSD card.

Talking about the camera, the J4 has a 13MP rear camera with  f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) shooter with LED flash. The camera performance can be expected to be pretty average.

In terms of connectivity, J4 includes Dual SIM (4G+4G) support, Wi-Fi b/g/n (no ac), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro-USB, FM Radio, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a 3000mAh removable battery.

Samsung has priced the 2GB/16GB version of the Galaxy J4 at Rs. 17,290 and the 3GB/32GB version at Rs. 20,690. The device is available all over Nepal and can be purchased from Samsung retail stores.
