TU launched its software for financial management transparency

According to the latest news, Trivuwan University(TU), has launched its own system software named “TU Central Bureau information management software” in order to maintain financial management transparency. It was unveiled by TU registrar, Mr. Dilli Ram Uprety.

He said, “To uphold the financial discipline and transparency, TU has started using the software”. He also added, “Following a new system, if any department fails to audit internal and external transaction within a time then their budget will be extracted.” The software has been installed in 30 different departments of Nepal by the auditor general.

Mr. Bibeknanda Ghimire, The Deputy Auditor General of TU, requested to follow the TU’s policy and directive effectively to all the concerned authorities.

The main objective of the software:
1. To make all the financial systems digitalize and systematic.
2. To show the importance of technology in academic institutions.
3. To maintain financial transparency.
4. To maintain financial transactions fairly.
