WatchOS 8 offers a redesigned interface and operation that focuses on physical activities, health, and productivity, following the trend of device use.
Mindfulness, a tool that works within the breathing tracking app, is one of the novelties. This function is designed to assist the user in taking breaks throughout the day.
Watch monitoring now examines your breathing throughout the night and offers a report when you wake up, particularly if a change in rhythm is detected.

The Fitness app now includes new training modalities such as tai chi and pilates. The timer can be set many times, allowing you to assess the time of numerous people at the same time with just one device.
In the interface field, you can now add photos from your library as a screen background.
The photo app for Apple Watch has been completely modified. Now, in addition to sharing images faster from the clock using apps like Messages and Mail. Replying to messages has also become easier, with a message composition that includes image search and quick access to emojis.
The watchOS 8 updates must be made available with other Apple operating systems. The stable version is expected to be released in September 2021.
