Chronicles of The Himalayas Review
Chronicles of The Himalayas is one of the most significant projects of the Sroth code games. It is Nepal’s first role-playing game and open world game. Sroth code released its demo version of chronicles of the Himalayas on 5th of January, but the full game is still in the development process. It developed with unity gaming platform and music partner of mantra. Unity is a real-time development platform which offers incredible possibilities for games and other applications.
The storyline of this game:
This game is all about a 15 years sherpa boy named Pasang Kaji Sherpa from a secret village in the Himalayan area of Nepal who sets out to find his missing father, but the destiny leads to find out his origins.
Game designs and its features:
The games provide a cartoon view with high graphics quality. It has poly graphics designs which I don’t like so much, but it is an excellent game the context of Nepal. It has some unique controls keys. Commonly “m” keyword is used for the map, but it uses the “tab” map.
I did not find any key for the jump which provides me some unsatisfaction. In this game when we press space it rolls but in setting the function of space is specified for the jump. Maybe “space bar” will be used as a jump in the higher level of this game. The storyline of this game is incredible. I love that because it helps to learn about the sherpas origins.
The map is full of mountains, hills, houses, and temple which is the impressing things of this game. But the map is little small, and maybe it will be more significant in the full version of this game. Overall all this game is excellent not too surprising, I rate it three stars out of 5 stars, but slowly the Nepal gaming industry is increasing and may develop better games in the future.
