Google Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin Step Down From Alphabet

Google founders Mr. Larry Page and Mr. Sergey Brin step down from Alphabet, one of the giant’s parent company. They will step back from their roles which is Alphabet’s chief executive officer and president. But they will remain on a board and serve for the company.

In a statement, Larry Page and Sergey Brin said,” We are going to handle our responsibility to Google’s CEO, Mr. Sundar Pichai.” It means that now Sundar Pichai will become the Alphabet’s CEO as well.”

Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Alphabet in 1998 in California garage. Later in 2015, it is created as part of a corporate restructuring of Google.

Mr. Page and Mr. Brin say that Sundar Pichai is a kind of personality who is always passionate about technology. He is humble to his users, partners and our employees every day. Sundar Pichai is the board member at Alphabet who worked with us for 15 years from the time of the formation of Alphabet. They also added,” His ability and confidence make him the right person to lead the Alphabet. So we both decided to handover our roles to him with best wishes for the future.

The pair says that Alphabet and Google do not need two CEOs, and Sundar Pichai is best for both the company. According to them, they never handle the management duties so they will be the active board member of Alphabet and word for managing group. Even they resign for their roles but still, they have 51% voting rights. Now Mr. Page and Mr. Brin serve as a “proud parents” to the company.

Sundar Pichai is an Indian citizen and also graduate from his nation. Later he moves to the US at Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania for higher study. In 2015, he becomes the CEO of Google. he is doing his duties very well by serving the company. Now its time to see his role as the CEO of Alphabet. I am sure that, like Google, Alphabet will also grow with higher success under his leadership.
