Every time Google releases its new Android system at Google I/O. But this time this could not happen due to Corona Virus.
Google has recently released a teaser video for inviting the people at the launch of Android 11 Beta. Since this time Google I/O is canceled, so the company decided to hold an online release show for the Android 11 Beta release. The release date is fixed for June 3. This year, Google asked to watch the launch from your home on 3rd June 2020.
With the release of Android 11 beta, there will be many more announcements for several official events. So don’t miss the event. There will be 3 Beta releases for three months: June, July, and August. But the official stable version will arrive around October.
With Beta 1 release, you will get final SKD and NKD APIs. Google has also announced to open Play Store submissions for apps that will target the new Android version.
Developer Preview 4
Due to the delay of Beta 1 release, it has launch Developer Preview 4. Google has announced the Developer Preview of Android 11 Beta earlier than expected time. The reason behind this is allowing more time for developers to adapt to their apps to the new APIs. But there are no features. There are just a few changes to stability and performance.
Developer Preview 4 builds for Google Pixel 2/2 XL, Pixel 3/3 XL, Pixel 3a/3a, and Pixel 4/4 XL. These all are available to download. You can download it manually or wait until the release of the new Android version.
There are few changes in Developer Preview 4 than the earlier version which are listed below:
- It comes with new wireless debugging which is helpful for the ADB process in Android 11. Now user can now quickly pair their smartphone to PC using pair pixel code.
- There will be increment on ADB which increases the rate of installation with large API. They can install more than 2 GB which is 10X faster than before.
