In terms of Information and communication technology – ICT, Lalitpur (Silicon Valley of Nepal) is at the lead in terms of annual trade. According to the Economic Census 2074, the annual trade from Lalitpur solely is estimated at Rs 109 billion.
After Lalitpur, Kathmandu ranks second in terms of trade. Kathmandu’s annual turnover in ICT is Rs. 64.89 billion. In the field of Information and communication technology in Nepal, most of the trade is limited to Lalitpur and Kathmandu.
After Kathmandu, Bhaktapur has an annual trade of Rs 4.21 billion, Sunsari Rs 2.94 billion, and Dang Rs 2.19 billion respectively.
