Recently, it is known that the second widebody airplane of Nepal Airlines Corporation(NAC) named “Makalu” has landed at Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu.
The aircraft(A330-200) was invented in Toulouse located in France. It was carrying Mr. Saugat Ratna Kansakarthe, general manager of NAC as well as Captain Srawan Rijal, among others from Toulouse having a nine-hour flight.
The airplane was warmly welcomed with a water cannon salute. During the occasion, Mr. Krishna Prasad Devkota who is the secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation along with other high ranking officers of NAC were present.
