WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress.
WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other.
Since the very first WordCamp that took place in San Francisco in 2006, hundreds of WordCamp events have been held all over the world, fascinating WordPress users and developers.
The free and open source personal publishing software that influenced more than 75 million sites on the web. WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences binding everything correspondent to WordPress.
WordCamp Kathmandu 2018 is set to begin from today i.e. . The two-day event will cover Conference Day as well as Contribution Day. The Conference Day (Saturday, March 17) will be full of speakers who will be talking about divergent topics. The speakers are from a peculiar place with distinct stories and topics. Similarly, The Contributor Day (Sunday, March 18) will be full of benefaction people who will contribute on numerous category like Theme Review, Support, Documentation, Polyglots, Community etc.
WordCamps come in all different flavors, based on the local communities that produce them, but in general, WordCamps include sessions on how to use WordPress more effectively, beginning plugin and theme development, advanced techniques, security, etc.
This year WordCamp is happening on 6 Continents, 65 Countries, 69 Continents, and 820 WordCamps.
