WhatsApp ‘Stickers’ and live location Feature Spotted In Testing On Windows Phone Beta

WhatsApp has actually started as an alternative to SMS. Now it also supports for sending and receiving a variety of media: text, photos, videos, documents, and location, as well as voice calls. Messages and calls from Whatsapp are secured with end-to-end encryption. It means that no third party including WhatsApp can read or listen to them.

Whatsapp has introduced different new features for Android and then iOS users. But this time it is introducing new updates for Windows phone users. They are introducing the new updates so that users can fill their chats with more spice and can express themselves better.
Whatsapp is introducing new stickers as well as redesigned Stickers notification icon in WhatsApp beta for Windows. This redesigning feature is not yet spotted on Android or iPhone. The stickers notification icon will introduce a “heart-shaped” logo to distinguish between regular messages and ones with stickers in them and open the app to see the sticker in full in a chat. This feature was also introduced previously in 2.18.2 beta but due to some default, it was disappeared.
You can get this feature by downloading the beta version of WhatsApp. Beta version brings lots of bugs with it. In such case, you should wait for the stable version that brings this feature in your windows phone.
Additionally, the messaging app also planning to bring live location sharing feature to windows phone. Using this feature, users can send their live update to their family members. So they can keep the track of the user’s location. This feature is already seen on both Android and iOS.
This feature is spotted while testing for version 2.18.24. It is said that WhatsApp may also bring the new stickers feature to both Android and iOS as well.
