In 1984, Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services started a test to measure and certify the Japanese-language proficiency. This test is for those whose native language is not Japanese. That test is used to call a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
Now the organization has opened the form for the JLPT test from 5 March 2020 in Nepal. And the best part is you can make your application payment through the Khalti app. It means you don’t need to go anywhere and waste your time, you can simply make it with Khalti app.
You all are very much familiar with the amazing services of the Khalti app, don’t you? Khalti is not only providing services for a top-up, paying electricity or water bills, but its services are also much more than that.
To make the JLPT test more convenient, Khalti collaborates with JALTAN (Japanese Language Teacher’s Association Nepa) for an online payment facility.
Every year thousands of people are moving to Japan for jobs as well as for education and they need to learn the Japanese language and pass the test for it. So I think this collaboration will bring some positive changes among such people.
Before this collaboration, students had to visit the JALTAN office at Bhuktimandap. They have to wait for a longer time in a queue to submit their application fee. That not only waste their time but also arise several problems who came by traveling a long distance to pay the application fee.
Review from Director of Khalti
Amit Agrawal, Director of Khalti said, “We are excited to partner with JALTAN to provide Khalti’s easy online payment services to all JLPT candidates in Nepal. Now the candidates can pay the exam fee easily from their mobile phone. Also, those who do not use Khalti can pay the fee at their nearest Khalti Pasal.”
So this online fee payment service is really a great revolution for us. Once you fill up your online application for the JLPT test, you will be redirected to an online payment page where they can enter their Khalti ID and complete the payment process in a few seconds. The application fee for the test has been fixed at three thousand rupees.
You can get JLPT’s application form from here. Here you will also get further details for your payment and others. The JLPT exam this year has been scheduled for 5 July.
