CyberSecurity Help Desk by npCert and CSRI Nepal: 3rd March to 7th March, 2020

In today’s world, we are very much dependent on the internet, isn’t it? It not only saves our time but also make our work easier and more convenient. But at the same time, we have to face so many problems regarding its security system. Day by day, several accounts and websites are being hacked. It may be due to a lack of cybersecurity knowledge.

So to prevent these issues, npCert (Information Security Response Team Nepal), CSRI Nepal (Center For Cyber Security Research and Innovation), has organized a Cyber Security Help desk in Prabhu Pay CAN Info-Tech 2020 at Nepalgunj in association with CAN Federation Banke Chapter.

Because of this technology revolution, the efficiency of government services has also increased.  Many people make their payments online like schedule bills, pay traffic tickets and file their taxes online. Hackers or cybercriminals are always tried to stole sensitive and personally identifiable information.

The legacy of ICT infrastructures creates a perfect storm for hackers and denial-of-service attacks (DDoS). Cybersecurity is not only important in the private sector but also in government organizations. It is a great internal concern topic, For the safety of public data, it is very important to keep the data with security rules.

To get rid of these all, The cybersecurity help desk  take this step for the safety of government organizations, as well as private organizations. This event has started from 3rd March to 7th March 2020 at Prabhu Pay CAN Info-Tech 2020 a Province – 5, CAN Federation Banke Branch.
