What is KU hackfest 2021?
KU HackFest 2021 is a 48-hour long international digital hackathon being organized by the Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC) on 19-21 February 2021. Where over 300 students will take part in a virtual meetup environment. It thrills us to proclaim that KU HackFest 2021 is Nepal’s First Digital Major League Hacking (MLH) Member Event and we will join the Official 2021 Hackathon Season to make this hackathon grander and inclusive for any tech enthusiast to participate.
In case you did not know about MLH?
Major League Hacking (MLH) is the official student hackathon league. Each year, MLH powers over 200 weekend-long invention competitions that inspire innovation, cultivate communities and teach computer science skills to over 65,000 students around the world. MLH is an engaged and passionate maker community, consisting of the next generation of technology leaders and entrepreneurs.
The vision of the team:
Their vision is to bring together innovative minds and tech enthusiasts from different parts of the world to collaborate and compete with all and to manifest incredible ideas in Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and market solutions. Not only that, we envision this hackathon to be a great learning platform for beginners and those who are curious about technology. Also, as experts from diverse technical fields will be attending the hackathon, it would be a great networking and learning opportunity for every participant.

The Deadline:
The application deadline is 3rd February 2021. However, we suggest you apply beforehand for priority review and advance information.
