The Ministry of Home Affairs (गृह मन्त्रालय) has started E-pass from today for the operation of essential vehicles during the lockdown by the Government for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection.
Vehicle passes can be obtained online for E-pass only for food transportation, health service, security/law enforcement, media, electricity/telecommunication, health issue, funeral, groceries/milk/vegetables, waste management, banking, and customs and others.
To get E-pass, you need to visit. In essence, https://epass.moha.gov.np/ and fill out required information such as name, address, access required district, id type/id number, provide id proof, service category, provide a reason to get the pass, pass dates, vehicle details, and other supporting documents as well.
