OPPO Reno is a sub-branding of Chinese smartphone maker OPPO. Within few weeks after the launch of Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 5G back in 24th of April, the company has launched its new mid-range OPPO Reno Z. It can be considered the budget version of the Reno 10x Zoom.
OPPO Reno Z: Design and Specifications
The Reno Z has an immersive 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, maintaining an 85.3% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) which also houses an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The back is a gradient color with curved edges, besides that, a long vertical strip at the back contains the OPPO branding, LED flash along with O-Dot ceramic point which seems to add extra protection to the cameras.
The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on the top. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC(10m, Octa-core) powers the device which is paired with Kryo 360 and Adreno 616 GPU. It gets 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. With the dual cameras set up at the back (48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, 5MP secondary depth sensor)and a 32MP selfie shooter, Reno Z is expected to take stunning pictures.
The OPPO Reno Z comes with a massive 3950mAh non-removable battery which supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charge technology. It measures 157.3 x 74.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 186 grams. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC.
